How to get your own Member's Gallery Page

Gallery Pages are a NEW service to our members

What is a "Gallery Page?"

A gallery page is your own webpage within the ASA Website. Visitors will see your gallery page when they browse our website, and people who Google your name will find your page on our website.

Why does the WSA provide this service?

This is a service to members to assist them achieve greater visibility and become accessible to internet buyers and interested parties without the expense of having their own website.

Why Would I want a Gallery Page?

Having a web presence by means of a Gallery Page is cheap and easy to manage. People who are interested can see your recent work, and it gives you the opportunity to tell them who you are and why you deserve their interest.

A web presence allows you to break through geographical barriers and become accessible, virtually, from any country in the world by a potential customer that has Internet access. You benefit from the association with a reputable art association, the ASA, and from the fact that the ASA website receives high traffic as a result of relevant searches by interested people worldwide and in South Africa.

To Obtain YOUR Gallery Page

If you are a member in good standing, you will simply submit the following to our Administrator:

1. Your Bio/CV of maximum 750 words in ASCII Text, Word or OpenOffice format
2. A digital photo of yourself
3. Digital images of four paintings

Note: The image file type must be JPEG/JPG Save the file size of all images to DPI 72, and at least 600 pixels on the long side.

4. Your payment of R 600 made out to Watercolour Society Africa. This covers design, layout, image editing, uploading and linking your Gallery Page, and your first year of website fees. NB payments may be made using Visa and Mastercard credit cards, EFT via online banking or by Direct Deposit to bank.

Copy all documents onto a CD or DVD and send in to:
